Privacy Policy

When you use Teoku AI, we collect:

• Account data — email address, password hash (managed by Supabase Auth)
• Profile data — name, school, graduation year, target role, and firm type you enter during onboarding
• Resume data — the text extracted from any resume PDF you upload
• Interview content — transcripts of your mock interview sessions and drill question answers
• Usage events — when you start a session, grade a drill answer, or use other features (for rate limiting and quota enforcement)
• Payment data — billing details managed directly by Stripe; we store only your Stripe customer ID

• To personalize interview questions and feedback based on your resume and target role
• To generate AI-powered interview simulations, grading, and scorecards
• To enforce free-tier usage limits and Pro subscription entitlements
• To track your practice streak and question history
• To analyze how the product is used in aggregate (via PostHog) to improve the Service
• To process payments and manage your subscription (via Stripe)

We share your data with the following third parties only to the extent necessary to provide the Service:

• Supabase — stores your account, profile, interview sessions, and usage events. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Anthropic— your interview prompts and resume text are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for AI processing. Review Anthropic’s privacy policy at anthropic.com.
• Deepgram— if you use voice input, your audio is sent to Deepgram for transcription. Review Deepgram’s privacy policy at deepgram.com.
• Stripe— processes payments and manages subscription billing. We never see your full card number. Review Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com.
• PostHog— collects anonymized product analytics events (e.g., “interview started,” “drill session completed”). No personally identifiable information is included in these events beyond your PostHog distinct ID.
• Vercel — hosts the application. Request metadata (IP addresses, User-Agent strings) may be processed by Vercel infrastructure.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Interview transcripts and usage events are retained indefinitely to support your history and streak tracking, unless you request deletion.

To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@teokuai.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing

We use session cookies set by Supabase Auth to keep you logged in. PostHog may set analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
